The Name Behind the Business

MCI People takes its name from our founder's three children — Mason, Chloe and Isabelle. It is not a corporate acronym. It is a daily reminder of why we do what we do, and the standard we hold ourselves to.
With over 20 years of experience in recruitment, MCI was built on a simple belief: that a family business can deliver at the scale of a national recruiter — without losing the warmth, the personal commitment and the genuine care that makes the real difference.
Today, MCI has helped 1,397 people into permanent employment and supplies some of the UK's most recognised blue-chip companies with skilled industrial staff and drivers. We operate across logistics, warehousing, manufacturing and transport — sectors where reliability is not a nice-to-have. It is everything.

HGV (Cat C/C+E), FLT, CSCS and all other licences are verified directly with issuing authorities. No shortcuts, no assumptions.

Early in his career, Ben spent 4 years as a warehouse shift supervisor at Bibby Distribution — managing large-scale operations and understanding the daily pressures of industrial workforce management from the inside — and 4 years as a transport planner at Kuehne+Nagel, planning over 100 vehicles a day on high-value loads across complex national networks. That is 8 years of genuine operational experience before a single day in recruitment.
Ben brings over 20 years of specialist industrial and driving recruitment experience and a decade of internationally accredited coaching and mentoring to every client and candidate relationship. He is a multi-award winning recruitment director, an accredited master coach and mentor, a professional member of the British Neuroscience Association, and the recipient of the Best International Speaker Award 2022. His approach is built on one simple principle: Lead with love, in all that you are, and in all that you do.
Combined with 20+ years in recruitment, five branches opened nationwide, 12+ managed service plans, and a track record of delivering complex depot relocations in partnership with major 3PLs across the country — there is genuinely no one better placed to understand the industry in which we work.
